On this day, the game was designed a little differently. He played 5 players simultaneously, blindfolded, with a time handicap – and lost 2 of the 5 games. He went from his normal 15% losing percentage to a 40% losing percentage.
And his opponents that day were not the best players in the world, but amateur players. Because of how the game was designed, even amateur players had a higher winning record against Carlsen than the best players in the world.

Since 2009, I have started or bought businesses in numerous industries, and I currently own two other businesses.
Throughout this journey, I have been curious about how other veteran entrepreneurs evaluate their business ideas and choose the right business that positions themselves to win.
I’ve had many conversations with them about the process they have developed over the years to start their second, third, or fourth business– having learned from their previous failures and successes.
Over decades of experience, they have discovered patterns of entrepreneurial success and fulfilment, and they use these insights to ask themselves some fundamental questions when evaluating a business idea. I have created a framework called the ‘Plan For 10’ Success Scorecard. You can use it each time you’re evaluating a business idea. The scorecard is based on the questions that veteran entrepreneurs ask themselves when evaluating a business idea.
You access the scorecard via an online portal. You can work on as many ideas as you want, and save them individually. Think about it as an online home for your ideas. Each section of the scorecard has a video that explains why that element is important in achieving success.
